Comments: This gun comes with bayonet and sling.
We would assume it was used by a reenactor before. It looks like it was
originally put together from a kit, but they did a good job on it. The
barrel has had some cold browning solution swabbed on it to simulate old
patina. The wood was finished in oil. You can see some sanding marks still
in the wood, but not much. The gun has its share of small dings and marks,
but nothing major. It was certainly not abused in any way. The lock
functions just fine. There is a boar's head medallion glued on to the
thumb escutcheon. A light cleaning, and a new flint, and she is ready to
go to the range right now. |
